Dear Students,

In compliance with the Italian Ministerial Decree containing measures for the containment of the spread of COVID-19, we regret to inform you that all activities are being suspended at the Italian headquarters of VHEI in Solofra from 5th March to the 15th of March 2020.

The teaching calendar will resume regularly, with appropriate adjustments, on March 16 2020.

During this period, the secretariat services will remain active and all those who wish to have further information they are kindly invited to communicate only by e-mail and the secretariat personnel will answers back all your concerns.

Furthermore please note that all lessons that will not take place in the coming days they will be recovered once back to school.

Thanking you for your understanding and collaboration, we are sure that at the end of these measures adopted by the Italian Government we will be able to resume our activities with renewed energy and momentum.

The International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer is celebrated to raise awareness and understanding about the consequences of ozone layer depletion.

The ozone layer, a fragile shield of gas, protects the Earth from the harmful portion of the rays of the sun, thus helping preserve life on the planet.

The phaseout of controlled uses of ozone depleting substances and the related reductions have not only helped protect the ozone layer for this and future generations, but have also contributed significantly to global efforts to address climate change; furthermore, it has protected human health and ecosystems by limiting the harmful ultraviolet radiation from reaching the earth.
