With Chopsticks, to taste Chinese Cuisine
------by Cairang Lamao
On March 27, the Chinese corner themed "chopsticks and Chinese cuisine" was held at Confucius Institute in Free International University of Moldova .With various representative Chinese cuisine, the activity shows broad and profound culture of Chinese cuisine directly. Chopsticks ——two simple sticks, as a kind of tableware, people can use them at ease .For example, they use it for picking dumplings、steamed stuffed bun、rice grains , especially dishes as fair as hair. Through PPT, students learned about chopsticks, including its materials, history, usage, etiquette and others, appreciate the magic of chopsticks. During the time, the students who play games with chopsticks added great fun for the activity. The volunteer teachers who organized this activity think that the development and evolution of Chinese cuisine has close connection with the five-thousand-year Chinese history and culture, and they hope Chinese cuisine can be a kind of way to spread Chinese culture so that Moldavian students will know more about China. The chopsticks, which are invented by Chinese people, are not only a major feature of Chinese diet, but also the civilized symbol of Chinese cuisine culture. Using chopsticks to enjoy Chinese cuisine can be an important way to approach Chinese culture.
