It's Thursday, so it's time for another Alumni Highlight. So, today we would like to share Livia Covaliov's message with you.
"I got the amazing chance to be selected as a ACCESS finalist for the years of 2017-2019, some of the best 2 years of my middle school. We were a really great group of students that eventually became friends and we really enjoyed each other’s company. Thanks to Mrs. Diana Retcu – Access Teacher in Ungheni and Alex Panco – Access Assistant in Ungheni, over the course of these 2 years our English improved, but I think the most important lesson we all learned was how to work in a team and how to enjoy the time spent together. The ACCESS program motivated me to apply for the FLEX program as well and I think it really helped me get a proper education on American culture before leaving for the US. I am so grateful that now I am an alumna for 2 programs funded by the U.S. Department of State.”
