The American Studies Center organized a farewell reception in honor of Stuart Hemphill, whose presence at Moldova State University over the past year had a meaningful impact on our academic community.

The event was attended by Joane Kramb, Education and Culture Attachรฉ at the U.S. Embassy in Moldova, who introduced Stuart to the university last summer and helped establish valuable academic and cultural partnerships.

Throughout his time at Moldova State University, Stuart showed dedication to teaching, academic exchange, and intercultural dialogue, inspiring both students and faculty members. Colleagues who collaborated with him shared valuable experiences and gained new perspectives through this partnership.

We sincerely thank Stuart for his contribution, enthusiasm, and positive influence on our university community. During the reception, he was presented with a diploma of gratitude by the president of the center, Lia Butucel, as a symbol of appreciation and a lasting memory of Moldova.

We wish him continued success and look forward to future collaborations with the U.S. Embassy in Moldova.๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฉ ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Today we had the pleasure of attending the USA Freedom 250 Festival at Scuarul Teatrului Naศ›ional de Operฤƒ ศ™i Balet, celebrating 250 years of American independence in a truly vibrant atmosphere.

The event was officially opened by Chargรฉ dโ€™Affaires Nick Pietrowicz and Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Alexandru Munteanu, setting the tone for a meaningful and engaging celebration.
