👉During October 12-13, 2022 at the Technical University of Moldova, the Roundtable “EU-Moldova Association Agreement: steps foreseen ” was held within the project Fostering European Integration of the Republic of Moldova with the specific accent on the agriculture sector nr. 610667-PPE‑1–2019-1-MDEPPJMO-PROIECT, organized with the support of the EU within the Erasmus+ program Jean Monnet action.
📌The final event of the project nr. 61066 brought together more than 100 participants from the host country and abroad: teachers, experts, students, students, graduates - people interested in the European integration process of the Republic of Moldova.
📌During the roundtable were discussed the EU-Moldova Association Agreement and its opportunity offered by the European Neighborhood Policy, also legislative changes produced due to the Association Agreement in various areas (trade relations, agriculture and rural development, food security, education, research and innovation, etc.)
📌The introductory session was moderated by the EUAGRO project coordinator, Elena Simciuc.
The vice-rector of TUM, Daniela Pojar, and Rector of State Agrarian University of Moldova, who were present at the event, noted the importance of the efforts for the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the EU and, it's important support thorough different instruments, programmes and projects.
📎The event consisted of several sessions during which messages and research of undeniable importance to scientists, students and civil society organizations were presented. The conclusions and recommendations of this important forum will be the subject of future research and projects.

👉During September 15-16, 2022 at the Technical University of Moldova, the International Workshop “The legal aspects of EU agricultural policy and the role of agricultural products in the trade relationship between EU and Moldova” was held within the project Fostering European Integration of the Republic of Moldova with the specific accent on the agriculture sector nr. 610667-PPE‑1–2019-1-MDEPPJMO-PROIECT, organized with the support of the EU within the Erasmus+ program Jean Monnet action.
📌The event brought together participants from the host country and abroad: teachers, experts, students, students, graduates - people interested in the European integration process of the Republic of Moldova.
📌During the international workshop, an overview of EU agricultural policy, standards, requirements, legislative provisions and mechanisms for implementing reforms in this field was created and, in particular, the legal aspects related to agriculture and rural development provided for in the Agreement on EU association with the Republic of Moldova.
📌The introductory session was moderated by the EUAGRO project coordinator, Elena Simciuc.
The vice-rector of TUM, Daniela Pojar, who was present at the event, noted the importance of the efforts for the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the EU and, in particular, the support that TUM gives itself in this regard, supporting numerous European projects of its own and those that appeared together with reorganization of the State Agrarian University of Moldova.
📌Claudia Melinte, the National Coordinator of the Erasmus + Office in Moldova, in her speech expressed her admiration and gratitude for the activity of the Technical University of Moldova regarding the participation in project competitions and the development of European projects.
🔷The event consisted of several modules during which messages and research of undeniable importance to scientists and policy makers were presented. The conclusions and recommendations of this important forum will be the subject of future research and projects.

It is our pleasure to inform you that the Roundtable “EU-Moldova Association Agreement: steps foreseen ” is organized within the project Fostering European Integration of the Republic of Moldova with the specific accent on the agriculture sector nr. 610667-PPE‑1–2019-1-MDEPPJMO-PROIECT held on 12-13 October 2022 in the State Agrarian University of Moldova.

🔰Objectives:
- To project the achievements and obstacles of the Integration of Moldova within European Neighborhood Policy (ENP), namely to raise awareness and inform the wider public on the progress achieved towards political and economical association of Moldova with the EU and promote involvement of academics, youth, civil society in the policy development;
- Increase of the information level of the citizens of Moldova on the purpose and aims of the EU-Moldova Association Agreement and to improve the understanding of the necessity to harmonization of laws, norms and regulations in various trade-related sectors that will make this possible the economic growth of Moldova;
- To increase the capability of the legal practitioners and the members of other target groups included in the project for implementing the EU norms, especially for food/agricultural products;
- To provide a precise analysis of the current state of implementation of the provisions of EU-Moldova Association Agreement;
- To provide a platform for highlighting main challenges and exchanging of views on certain problematic issues concerning the current dimension of the European integration, openness of the EU market, Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) and to formulate participants’ recommendations for improving the current situation in national legislation and practice;
- To elaborate recommendations for future development of the cooperation of the target groups and stakeholders.

🔰Methodology: The Roundtable format will be highly interactive, with expert international keynote speakers (10 non-local contributors), panelists and senior representatives from the EU Delegation to Moldova. With practical interactive sessions it will provide participants the opportunity to try out "on the ground" the lessons learnt from the EUAGRO project. In our pre-event reception, networking breakfast and poster sessions, the event will provide ample opportunities for direct exchange between different stakeholders as well as access to EU and MD policy-makers.

- To strengthen youth, researchers, academics, farmers, civil society organizations by raising awareness of existing mechanisms at their disposal through which they can voice their concerns;
- To elaborate recommendations for future development of the cooperation of the target groups and stakeholders.

● Representatives of public administration, regional administrations who primarily work with EU law/Policy and therefore require both theoretical and practical training in EU integration issues;

✅ Aim of the conference:
To increase the dissemination of information on the perspectives and achievements within European Integration of Moldova on regional and local levels, in particular within the European Neighbourhood Policy, Eastern Partnership and Association Agreement EU-MD.
✅ Objectives of the conference:
1) To promote academic world, youths, researchers, young professionals, civil society, farmers, small and medium companies involvement in a public policy dialogue regarding European Integration of Moldova and other countries covered by Eastern partnership Policy;
2) To improve the involvement, raise awareness and inform the wider public on the progress achieved towards political and economic association of Moldova with the EU;
3) To inform and raise awareness of representatives of the youth non-governmental organizations on regional and local levels on the importance of the European Neighbourhood Policy for the development of the country and to promote their engagement in the policy dialogue in their local communities;
4) To foster and strengthen understanding and awareness of university students from rural areas on EU-Moldova Association Agreement, with emphasis on ENP and EaP.
The participants will be encouraged to share their ideas and come up with follow up initiatives through which the project’s goal among the target groups especially could be promoted.
✅ Working language: Romanian and Russian with English simultaneous translation
✅ Who can participate?
The Conference will bring together at least 75 participants, incl.5 non-local contributors, representatives of academia (academic and administrative staff) and students, national governmental structures in economic, education, innovation, research, agrarian, politic, trade relations, forestry, environment, food safety.etc fields, representatives of civil society organizations, business associations and SMEs, researchers, general public.

👉From 1 to 10 June 2021, within the framework of the project Nr. 610667-PPE-1-2019-1-MDEPPJMO-PROIECT: Fostering European Integration of the Republic of Moldova with the specific accent on the agriculture sector, State Agrarian University of Moldova held seminars on the topic: ”Understanding of the main issues of EU policies toward Moldova” in Cahul, Chisinau, Comrat, Balti and was attended by more than 130 participants in online and offline format, but most still participated in the offline format, which shows how much everyone missed the events that are held offline.
🔷Speakers of the seminars were E. Simciuc, R. Khachatryan, L. Pădureac and N. Zamfir.
👉Seminars were organized taking into account the insufficient understanding, information and support activities for interested participants concerning the EU policies towards Moldova with the focus on agriculture and rural development aspects as well.
✅Objectives:
📌To foster and strengthen understanding and awareness of university students, researchers from local and rural areas on the European Neighborhood Policy and Eastern Partnership, EU-Moldova Association Agreement, with the emphasis on agriculture and rural development policies, and on the National Development Strategy "Moldova 2030" with national priorities in the field of Environmental Protection.
📌To inform and raise awareness of representatives of the students associations, youth, young leaders, non-governmental organizations on regional and local levels on the importance of the European Neighborhood Policy and Eastern Partnership, for the development of the country and to promote their engagement in the policy dialogue in their local communities.
📌To discuss and analyze opportunities of Jean Monnet Action Programme, EU Higher Education Policy and Research Policy, Quality Assurance and the functioning of EU Education Institutions / Mobility
