✨ It was April 19, 1956: the religious wedding of Prince Rainier and Grace Kelly
70 years ago to the day, Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly were united, before the eyes of the whole world, at Monaco’s Cathedral of Our Lady Immaculate.
The American actress thus became the 14th Princess of Monaco and also inherited four duchess and marchioness titles, seven countess titles, and nine baroness titles.

👑 Broadcast live via Eurovision, the “Wedding of the Century” brought together more than a hundred guests and nearly 30 million viewers, becoming one of the first major global events in television history.
