Get to know the chefs who will be leading this unique experience at Blue Door on February 11 & 12 💙

Carlo Simons is not a chef. In fact, he says himself that only a few truly deserve to call themselves chefs. He prefers to describe himself as a creative, with a focus on bringing people together around a table and letting them enjoy beauty and flavour. After opening Dar Simons in Marrakech, he has now opened a living-room restaurant in Belgium. Hosted by Studio Simons.

Nothing predestined Driss Aloui would pursue a career in cooking, but after an inspiring stage that teased his interest, he decided to commit fully and hasn’t stopped since. Self taught, he moved to Marrakech where he now runs the kitchens of both Blue Ribbon café and Farmers Marrakech, curating farm forward menus that take their inspiration from food from the Global South.

During the event, the girls also enjoyed a Christmas cookie decorating activity! An incredible moment of sharing, where they loved creating with their own hands, expressing their creativity and simply having fun together.
And what better way to end it than enjoying them with a good Moroccan tea?
Around this table, cultures mixed, traditions blended, conversations flowed, and we truly got to know one another.
