I made it to Boston around 8:00 PM last night! I’m going to spend a week in this area visiting family and friends. My baby brother, John, knows me well! He had my first Sonic Coke Zero waiting for me. It’s been 10 months without a Sonic drink!😱

My journey in Morocco is almost over. I leave this beautiful country on Friday. While there have been many tearful good-byes, I leave with a heart full of joy. When I started this journey, my hope was that I pass on the belief that JOY can be found even on the hard days in education. Maybe… just maybe… they got the message. English Language Programs

English is rapidly growing in importance in Morocco, especially among young people who see it as crucial for career and educational advancement.
Shift in Education:
There's a noticeable shift towards English in education, with some advocating for it to replace French as the primary foreign language.
Limited Use in Administration:
French and Arabic are still the main languages used in higher education and government administration.

Only 7 days left in Morocco. I said goodbye to Martil with special friends, Henna, a lesson on making Chicken Tagine, and Tea. Morocco has been good to me.

My favorite Disney Character is Malificent. She is just misunderstood. A cherished friend, student, and Moroccan family member remembered this and drew a picture for me. It is perfect. I will cherish it forever. Imane, my Moroccan daughter, you will be missed.

While visiting in Missour, Morocco, I was gifted with homemade olive oil. Yep. That’s olive oil in the Coke bottle. There’s no comparison to homemade olive oil and store bought. 🙌🏻. Culturally, olive oil carries a deeper meaning. In Morocco, olive oil symbolizes hospitality, wellness, and prosperity. Many families use it in traditional remedies and beauty treatments, appreciating its nourishing effects both inside and out. English Language Programs
