On the afternoon of April 29th, Moroccan time, the Confucius Institute in Rabat held a special pre-departure preparation meeting for the summer camp. The Chinese and Moroccan directors and teachers of the Confucius Institute, as well as all summer camp participants, attended the meeting.

On April 19, the Confucius Institute in Rabat successfully hosted the 11th Morocco Chinese Language Teaching Seminar.

On April 11, 2026, the Confucius Institute at Mohammed V University held its second HSK exam of 2026. Under all the collaborative efforts of all exam staff, the exam was successfully completed.
Confucius Institute of UM5 Rabat will continue provide effective Chinese language education and official exams services to all students in need.

On March 25th, Moroccan time, Beijing International Studies University (BISU), the Faculty of Law (FSJES) of Mohammed V University in Rabat, Morocco, and the Confucius Institute in Rabat, jointly established by the two universities, successfully held a special working meeting on the BISU (Maghreb) project in a hybrid online and offline format. Both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics such as project operation and deepening cooperation, clarifying the direction for the next stage of development.

On February 4, 2026, the Chinese Embassy in Morocco solemnly held its 2026 Spring Festival celebrations at the Mohammed V Theater in Rabat. The Chinese Ambassador to Morocco convened relevant meetings and delivered a speech at the "Happy Spring Festival: Cultural Silk Road" special performance. Dai Xiaoqi, the Chinese Director of Confucius Institute, along with Mme. Karima Yatribi, the Local Director, all teachers, and some students, were invited to participate in the event, joining Moroccans and representatives of the Chinese community in Morocco to celebrate the Spring Festival.

Ramadan is a holy month in Islamic countries, the month of Islam's incarnation. During Ramadan, Muslims worldwide are more mindful of the suffering of others, organizing various charitable activities to express their care and love. On the afternoon of February 28th, Chinese Director Dai Xiaoqi, Moroccan Director Karima Yatribi, and teachers Yang Yizhi and Song Yan, representing the Confucius Institute at Mohammed V University, traveled to Casablanca to participate in a Ramadan children's charity event sponsored by the World Culture Foundation and the Moqit Foundation. The event primarily served sixty children from impoverished families, with teachers from the Rabat Confucius Institute introducing Chinese aesthetic arts to the Moroccan children through calligraphy, Tai Chi, and paper cutting.
