TAMKINE TRIBUNE 15 - Dropout Is Not a Problem… It Is a Symptom.
There are numbers that should not be read as statistics, but as alarms. Nearly 280,000 students reportedly left school in Morocco in 2025, only a slight decline from the roughly 294,458 students who dropped out during the previous school year. The decrease matters, but it does not absolve us. A country cannot look at hundreds of thousands of children leaving its classrooms every year and call it a “school problem.” It is not. It is a national symptom.
