We were honored to host Dr. Brian Seilstad and Dr. Bridget Goodman for an insightful book presentation at IES Abroad Rabat, where we explored key ideas from "Researching Multilingually: Conceptual and Methodological Failures, Struggles, and Successes."
The discussion delved into the practical challenges of multilingual research, including supervision, translation, reporting, and the emotional and identity-related complexities researchers face. A particularly engaging debate emerged around outsider/insider perspectives in research, sparking thought-provoking reflections from attendees.
