Expressing regret
Regret means having a feeling of sadness about something that you did or did not do
To express regret, we may use different structures like:
1. Conditional type 3 (If+subject+past perfect+subject+would+have+past participle) (Already done)

2. Should have +past participle=====I should have worked harder

3.I regret+noun/verb+ing===I regret eating so much

4.I wish /if only+ past perfect===I wish I had come to your party
if only I had driven more carefully
Other examples:
I didn't sleep very well last night. I have a terrible headache
====I wish I had slept early
====If only I had slept early
