Moroccan academic Younes Nafid was awarded the Prize for Excellence in E-Learning by the Arab Naif University for Security Sciences in Riyadh on Thursday. The award recognizes outstanding achievements in academic research, teaching, and online learning innovation.
Nafid, a professor in the Department of Criminal Law at the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Criminology in Riyadh, also serves as advisor for scientific research and innovation at the same university. His contributions include numerous specialized books, studies, and the supervision of theses and doctoral research.
Originally from Morocco, Nafid holds a PhD in criminal law and criminology from Mohammed Premier University in Oujda. Before his tenure in Saudi Arabia, he taught at Cadi Ayyad University and Chouaib Doukkali University.
The award underscores his ongoing commitment to advancing legal education and research in both in-person and digital formats, cementing his role as a prominent figure in the Arab academic community.
