A successful research Project is broadly assessed through stakeholders' involvement and the
project's impact on the community. Project evaluators focus on medium-term outcomes, specifically
stakeholders' satisfaction with the sustained positive impacts on the involved community.
In this perspective, Cadi Ayyad University aims to develop partnerships with the socio-economic
sector and promote laboratory research results. To achieve this, the university has implemented
systems to support value-enhancing initiatives through a continued dialogue with stakeholders.
The National Center for Studies and Research on Water and Energy (CNEREE) of the university
Cadi Ayyad, as part of its 2023-2024 action plan, organize on May 16, 2024, a Round Table entitled
“Community-driven Science: Empowering NGOs and Private Sector for Sustainable Research, in
collaboration with the Al Amal Association for Sustainable Development and the Moroccan Center
for Study and Research on Sustainable Developments (MOCEES). This round table brings together
representatives of public institutions, NGOs and the private sector to understand and identify the nature
and the level of the evaluation criteria and success factors of such collaborative projects involving the
socio-economic sector and community.
Panelists will discuss the role of such important partners in implementing R&D projects and identify
barriers to successful tendering and completion of joined PPP projects.
