Hello all friends of Play to Learn Marrakech, I will start back my English classes after Ramadan. Fun learning English through crafting, cooking, science and games. Classes will be on Wednesdays from 3pm to 430pm or 430pm to 6pm. Limited to 6 students. Price is 350dh a month paid in advance.

Hello Parents,I am starting a Saturday morning English Girls Club on Sept 14th.The classes will be from 10am to 12pm every Saturday. Classes are taught in English while also learning new craft, cooking and sewing skills. For our first month I am planning Tie Dye, Slime making, Jean Bag or Sack, Pumpkin crafts and some Cake Pops...Lots of fun!!! Hope to extend at a later date to include the boys also. Ages 3 to 12 yr olds...Maximum 6 girls. I have 2 spaces open if you are interested please pm me. EDIT....1 space open

Playing activates a child’s brain in a way that computer screens and television cannot. Playing requires imagination and problem solving, two very important life skills.

However play is more than meets the eye. Play is both simple and complex. Sociologist Mildred Parten describes six stages of play that children engage in. These stages are dependant upon age and development.

There are also many types of play that children and adults engage in (yes adults should still play!) Play is versatile and can be different things to different people. For some it’s hiking and for others it’s reading a book.
