It is tradition here in Morocco to eat cous cous every Friday. The cous cous is served traditionally on a clay plate
The vegetables are arranged nicely and the sauce from the cooked vegetables is poured on top.
This week I made a side addition of caramelized onions and raisins.

Fresh mixed salad made with local produce

The Salad contains:
Boiled betroot
Boiled carrots
Boiled potato
Rice with tuna

Served on lettuce leaves, garnished with parsley

ZAALOUK

A spicy mixture of grilled eggplant and tomatoes. Eaten as a side dish in Morocco.
