This year's cohort's already up and kicking!
First micro teaching for these eager novice teachers, from Salsa dance, 💃🏼 to crochet 🧶 and paper boat ⛵ making. This is the first encounter with instruction giving, modeling, drilling, and so many other skills being explored by ETII Rabat trainees.

On Sunday, May 18th, ETII Rabat reunited the Alumni of the program for the first time to catch up. Former trainee Bouchra organized the meeting beautifully and facilitated discussions and activities for everyone. We thank her for the great work!
It was great to see you all, and we missed the ones who couldn't make it.

And we're back!

After a thorough selection process that included written quizzes and oral interviews, the ETII Rabat cohort of 2024/2025 is ready to begin the year.

Our first micro-teaching sessions were a beautiful mix of mindful, practical, and strategic skills.

Everyone's excited and looking forward to their first intensive sessions.

Applications for the 2024/2025 program open now! Deadline September 15.

The ETII is a nonprofit teacher training program for graduates of Moroccan Public University English programs, funded by the American Cultural Association and American Language Centers. In semester one, you get theoretical teacher training based on the Cambridge TKT curriculum, plus micro teaching sessions and lesson planning practice. In semester two, you commit to an internship where you will teach in-need students English for either 40, 70, or 100 hours.

Today, Teacher/Trainer/Rapper Yassine shared with Trainees from Rabat and Casablanca tips and tricks on how to use Music in the classroom. The trainees had so much fun learning how to enhance the four skills in the classroom in the most musical ways possible. 👩🏼‍🎤🎤🎶

ETII Rabat trainees are all about Professional Development opportunities.

On May 10th, English Language Fellow Julia Fajardo held a workshop for the trainees about techniques to get their students talking.

On May 13th, the trainees joined a workshop organized by Exchanges and Nat Geo about harnessing students' curiosity.

A big shout out to our eager trainees who are willing to learn more to be better teachers. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
