We are thrilled to announce a strategic cross-continental alliance: the Morocco Debate Association (MDA) is joining forces with the European Speech & Debate Academy (ESDA) as a premier regional initiative!

Team Morocco for WSDC 2027!

Tryouts for the 13th Moroccan National Debate Team (MNDT 2027) will be held in September 2026. The top 5 ranked students will be chosen to be trained from October 2026 to July 2027 to compete in 2027 World & Continental Championships in-person.

Students ranked from 6th to 11th best will be placed on The Development Team. The Development team debaters will attend an in-person competition in 2027.

Eligibility
1. Must be: 13 to 18 years old by 09/2026.
2. Must be a full time high school (secondary school) student in Morocco.
3. Must have an intermediate to advanced speaking level in English.
4. Must be able to attend a 2-hour online training sessions once a week, on a weekend.

Ideal Candidate
a) Hardworking individuals who like to stay up-to-date on current affairs.
b) Obtained approval from parents.
c) Maintains a healthy relationship with teachers and is respectful at all times.

Congratulations to all the teams on this historic participation! The 2025 WSDC featured only four African teams, so seeing that number jump to 15 brings us immense joy!
