While colonialism continues through financial oppression (CFA franc, IMF, World Bank…), Bitcoin offers an exit into a future with more freedom & opportunity. A peaceful revolution - voting with your money for a new system that is transparent, decentralized, and fair.

In the same way that most of Africa skipped railways and went straight from horses to cars, or skipped landline telephones and leapfrogged to cell phones, many millions will also skip bank accounts, international wire transfers and PayPal et al and jump straight to Bitcoin. They’ll never buy stocks or government bonds but will hold their own wealth independently.

It’s still incredibly early (more than 40% of Africans are still without electricity), but the pioneers are building and early adopters will be rewarded.

Enjoyed teaching some English classes at FSJES in Aïn Sebaâ again this semester! 😃

The goal is to improve each student’s level of English, but it’s a challenge when there is a huge range of abilities in the same class.

Of course we did some grammar and vocabulary exercises, but we kept things interesting by sprinkling in some great discussions about technology, celebrations, travel, faith, weddings, habits, self-education....

It’s a privilege to invest in the future leaders of Morocco and beyond! 🇲🇦💪🏽
