MIT Claims Top Spot For 11th Year In A Row In The QS Rankings Of The World’s Best Universities The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) continues to be rated the world’s best university, according to the just-released QS Quacquarelli Symonds’ QS World University Rankings. It’s the 11th year in a row that MIT has claimed the top spot in the rankings.

US News Grad Rankings: MIT No. 1 for Engineering, Computer Science, and More MIT was named the best graduate engineering school by US News & World Report, according to the publication’s 2023 ranking of best graduate schools—a position it has held since 1990, when the magazine began ranking such programs.
