The Greener March: One Man’s Trash is another’s Revolution With Pimp My Carroça Morocco, like many developing countries, has a lack of recycling infrastructure, which results in all municipal waste going straight to landfills.

Community Club successfully graffitied two more carroças and handed out safety clothes today! For these two carroças we chose the phrase "The earth is a mosque" spray painted in Arabic and English. This phrase was taken from American writer Ibrahim Abdul-Matin's book "GreenDeen" in which he talks about respecting the earth as if it were sacred and holy.

Last session we worked with CorpsAfrica to successfully transform classrooms at the primary school in Sidi Smail, into beautiful places for the students to study. The Paint~A~Room project was a great success. A big thank you to ALC Casablanca, ALC El Jadida students and Dar America members who helped to make this happen!! Well DONE!!
ALC El Jadida has since then collected over 1000 books to donate to the primary school - Amazing!
Our new project is to build bookshelves for the new books and re-visit the school to donate this new library to them.
