The Association of Moroccan Alumni of the Teacher Education Institute in Boston is a body of active

Since its inception in 2006, AMA has been activey engaged in the promotion of education in Morocco through the implementation of a set of training programs for the youth and for Moroccan teachers of English. Our goal is to serve our communities and our youth and promote the values of effective citizenship, peace, tolerance, cooperation, hard work, productivity, cultural awareness, and many more!

With heavy hearts we received the sad news that Mrs Dominique Ben Brahim, cultural affairs specialist at the US Embassy in Rabat, is no longer with us! It is such a big loss to us in AMA as Mrs Ben Brahim was always very supportive and very helpful during all our endeavors! She will be dearly missed!
We herein express our deepest condolences to her family and to all her acquaintances and friends! May her soul eternally rest in peace!

في اطارالشراكة المبرمة بين المديرية الاقليمية بعين السبع الحي المحمدي وشركة Bookland و جمعية AMA، شهد المركب التربوي التعاوني عقبة يومه الجمعة فاتح مارس 2019 ورشات تربوية تفاعلية محضة لفائدة اساتذة اللغة الانجليزية حول موضوع : تدريس اللغة الانجليزية في ظروف صعبة و لقد أطر اللقاء كل من الأستاذتين النشيطتين Rachida Guelzim و Samia Wardane رئيسة جمعية AMA و ممثلي Bookland.
شكر خاص للمديرة الإقليمية لطيفة لاماليف و عبد الله صليح رئيس مصلحة الشؤون التربوية على دعمهم و جهودهم، و لكونهم شركاء في نجاح هذا النشاط التربوي التفاعلي اللذي تحققت اهدافه بالمشاركة الفعالة لأساتذة و استاذات اللغة الانجليزية بمديرية عين السبع الحي المحمدي.
I do believe that the opposite of poverty is not richness, it is sharing.

Under the leadership of its president Mrs Samia Wardane and the unflagging commitment of all its members, AMA continues to inspire teachers across Morocco. Below are a few shots of the study day AMA organized on February 2nd in partnership with the regional directorate of Ain Sbaa Hay Mohammadi, and Bookland Publishing. Sharing ELT Practices study day was indeed a day of sharing and learing together through a set of activities and workshops. AMA would like to thank the regional director of Ain Sbaa Hay Mohammadi Ms. Latifa Lamalif and Mr. Abdellah Salih for their active participation and unconditional support for AMA' s initiatives. Many thanks go also to Bookland Publishing for contributing to the success of the event! A big 'thank you' to all the teachers who attended the event and actively engaged in and contributed to its activities!

A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves! Si Said Bennani is still alive in our hearts and minds. Through us, his friends and acquaintances, he lives on!
On this sad occasion, we at the Association of Moroccan Alumni extend our sincere condolences to his wife and AMA's friend Mrs Rachida Guelzim! May God comfort you and your family during this time of grief!

It was with great sadness and heavy hearts that we, at the Association of Moroccan Alumni, learned of the death of Mourad Ben Ali's father. On this sad occasion, we would like to express our heartfelt condolences for our friend's loss! May the soul of your dad rest in peace!

On the occasion of your day, AMA wishes you very good luck in your endeavors and success in your noble mission. May you forever be the stars that light up the night. Indeed, we are lucky to be teachers despite the challenges of the job! Remember, we touch lives and shape minds! Is there anything nobler than this??

AMA is proud of its president being the academic adviser for this year’s Oleander Initiative 2018, Hiroshima-Japan. She facilitated a workshop on Sadako: An Interactive Reading Activity for 14 Japanese teachers and 12 Middle Eastern and American Educators.
AMA has three members participating in the Oleander Initiative 2018! The team of AMA peace makers and highly qulified peace education trainers is growing!! Stay tuned for our peace activities across the country during the upcoming school year!
