ETII Agadir 2026 | Student Graduation Ceremony
Our students received their graduation certificates, closing a journey that began in February and carried us all the way through June. Months of classes, of practice, of showing up week after week, of learning a language and, along the way, learning what they could do with it.
Watching them come up one by one to collect their certificates was something we will not forget. These are learners who balanced their training, their crafts, and their lives, and still made room for English. They earned every bit of this.

And then we celebrated properly. Food, laughter, photos, and the kind of energy that only comes when a room is full of people who genuinely enjoyed the time they spent together. Teachers and students said farewell after a year full of learning, and it was clear how much the classroom had become something more than a classroom.

A sincere thank you to Mr. Ahmed Atlagh and Mr. Ahmed Touzalt for their guidance from the first day to the last. Thank you to the American Language Center Agadir for the training and support behind all of it, to the ISAT staff for opening their doors to us throughout the year, and to the organizing committee for turning the day into a real celebration.

And to our students: thank you for your trust, your effort, and your patience with us as we learned alongside you. You taught us as much as we taught you.

This is not goodbye to what you built. It is only the beginning of where you take it.

Onwards.

ETII Agadir Showcase 2026
On Saturday, June 20, our students walked onto the stage at the Inezgane Handicraft Center and showed what a year of work looks like. Under the theme "Empowering Moroccan Artisans: Honoring Tradition, Creating Opportunity and Preserving Heritage," each group turned a craft into a story and a story into a presentation delivered in English with confidence and heart.
From tailoring and argan oil to solar energy, furniture, jewelry, clay and leather, the projects reflected the richness of Moroccan craftsmanship and the ambition of the students who study it. Watching them stand before a jury and audience, speak clearly, and defend their ideas was the real reward of this program.
After a close and thoughtful deliberation, our results were:
Winners: Level 3, "The Yin Yang Necklace," coached by Teacher Maryem Farazdag and presented by Mustapha Ibirri and Yassine Elbaz.
Runners up: Level 4, "From Earth to Sole," coached by Teacher Mohamed Elkarroumi and presented by Mohamed Ousalh, Zakaria Elouargi, Hajar Oujdi, Mohamed Aderdour, and Khadija Ait Ounrar.
Third place: Level 2, "Sketch to Real," coached by Teacher Laïla Karam and presented by Fatima Nakhasse and Mohamed Oumouloud.
Congratulations to these three groups, and to every single team
that presented. Your preparation, your courage on stage, and your pride in your work spoke for themselves.
A sincere thank you to our jury members for their care and fairness in evaluating the projects. Thank you to our animator, Aya, for her energy and effort in guiding the event from start to finish, and to the whole organizing committee, whose planning and long hours turned an idea into a full event. Our deep gratitude goes to Mr. Ahmed Atlagh and Mr. Ahmed Touzalt for their tireless efforts and guidance throughout this journey. Thank you to the ISAT staff, represented by Mr. Aboubaker, whose support was of immense help in making the event a success, and to all the ISAT staff. Thank you as well to Mr. Marwane for photographing the event and capturing its moments so beautifully.
This showcase was never only about a competition. It was about learners of every age and background discovering that English can give their voice, their craft, and their heritage the reach to travel far. Seeing our work with them come to life on that stage, as they presented their projects in English and with real confidence, is a pride that stays with us. We could not be prouder.
Onwards.

On June 2nd, I had the pleasure of connecting online with Prof. Ahmed Atlagh for a post-lesson feedback discussion following his visit to my class at ISAT Inezgane.
I was genuinely moved by his thoughtful and kind feedback. He highlighted my professional presence and voice projection, the learner-centered atmosphere I work hard to build, and, what meant the most to me, the strong rapport I've developed with my students. Knowing that they genuinely enjoy the learning experience we create together is everything.
Of course, great feedback always comes with direction for growth, and his constructive notes on participation management, elicitation techniques, and pacing gave me clear, actionable steps to push my practice even further.
I walk away from this experience feeling both valued and challenged, exactly what a teacher needs to keep growing. Grateful to be part of the ETII program and to have trainers who genuinely invest in their trainees' development.
Onwards!
