تسأل عن الأستاذ فلان أو المهندس فلان أو الباحث فلان أو الطبيب فلان ... هو في مؤتمر
تتخيل أنه شخص هام يحضر محفل علمي محترم .. بينما في الحقيقة هو مجرد تجارة و مكان لإلتقاط بعض الصور بدون محتوى علمي يستحق
أو تجد فلان يضع صورته و هو يلقي محاضرة أو في الخلفية شعار مؤتمر ما
بينما في الحقيقة هو مجرد تجمع من المحاضرات المكررة و الجميع يعرفها .. و مكان مهجور يحضره بعض الناس ممن ليس وراءه أمور أكثر أهمية
و يقول المقال أن إنتشار هذه الظاهرة و تلك التجارة وراءها تجارة ما يسمى سياحة المؤتمرات .. و معها سعي بعض الباحثين أو الاطباء للبحث عن فرصة للظهور نتيجة الفراغ .. و إلقاء أو الإستماع الى محاضرات مكررة لا تحوي أي جديد
أصبحت هذه الظاهرة تسمى المؤتمرات الطفيلية أو مؤتمرات الإحتيال .
