Confusing English words
*Work in /Work at /* *work for / work with*
🔷 *Work with* :
work with suggests that you're not an employee but may be an independent contractor of some kind or that you collaborate with someone to achieve a goal.
Examples
👉 I *work with* them as a mentor and a coach .
👉 I *work with* John .
🔷 *Work on* :
we use to communicate that we might be doing some work on a project ,a presentation ,a book etc.
Examples
👉 We *worked on* that project for three years .
👉 I *worked on* my presentation participating it over and over again.
*Work on* also means to spend time repairing or improving something .
👉His dancing technique is good ,but he needs to *work on* his fitness .
👉 I really need to *work on* my patience .
🔷 *Work at* :
work at suggests that the speaker may be thinking of the office or location where he works as he speaks .
👉 A friend of mine *works at* the airport as a baggage handler .
👉 As a student ,I liked *working at* the beach in summer.
*Work at* something also means to try hard to achieve something .
👉 You need to *work* *at* improving your writing .
🔷 *Work for* :
*work for* tends to emphasize the relationship you have as an employee to your employer .
Examples
👉 I Am employed by that company .I *work ** *for** IBM.
👉What company do you *work for* ?
🔷 *Work in*
Examples
I work in school.
👉 I *work in* office
👉 My cousin used to *work in* a bank.

Types of sentences

In English, we have four main sentences.

Simple sentence which contains at least subject and the verb and it stands alone.

Example: Ali is a good man.

Compound sentence:

It contains two independent clauses joined by coordinations or conjunction adverbs.

Example:

Sara was scared of the exams, but she passed them successfully.

Complex sentence is a sentence in which we have at least one independent clause and one or more dependent clauses.

Example:

Since it is a sunny day, I will go to the beach.

Compound complex sentence:

It is a sentence that contains two independent clauses and one or more dependent clauses.

Example:

Jamil didn't attend his classes, but he got good marks because his brother rrevised lessons with him at home.

In a cold morning, a colorful bird was piping in his cage jumping around and round want to escape to the veiw out of the windows. A young housewife was in her kitchen siting in an old chair putting her head in her hand on the table, thinking about her miserable life. while she was thinking, her memory drove her to an age when she was teenager girl fall in love with that handsome soldier, her dream man who left her because of his desire to war. Her memories guided her to their big villa where she was a princess to her colonel father, and her mother who was divorced and left her alone. Then she came across the fake promises of her husband which motivated her to hold the hope of life. The hope that came a source of her sadness in the old woden chair in the kitchen.
