Class Party - 2025

The final round of the debate competition was held on 04 October 2025 at the auditorium of the Embassy of Bangladesh in Libya. In the final round, a total of ten students, divided into two groups, took part in the debate on the topic, “Artificial Intelligence (AI): A Barrier Rather Than a Blessing for the Progress and Creativity of Human Civilization.”

The event was presided over by Mr. Kazi Asif Ahmed, Chargé d’Affaires and Minister (Political) of the Embassy of Bangladesh in Libya, while Mr. Md. Rasel Miah, President of the Executive Committee EC) of the School, along with other respected EC members, were also present. The participants impressed the audience with their logical arguments, lively presentations, and depth of thought. Based on the overall performance, the opposition team was declared the winner of the final round.

On the occasion of Youth Festival 2025, the Embassy of Bangladesh in Libya, in collaboration with the Bangladesh Community School and College, Tripoli, organized the debate competition for Bangladeshi students. In the preliminary stage, a total of six groups participated, from which ten students with the highest scores across three debates advanced to the final round.

Through this debate competition, the students not only enhanced their critical thinking and analytical abilities but also learned the importance of teamwork, respectful dialogue, and constructive reasoning. The final round was attended by Embassy officials, members of the Bangladeshi community in Tripoli, as well as teachers, parents, and students.

Bangladesh Community School & College in Tripoli organized a debate competition among the students as part of the Youth Festival 2025 celebrations. The students participated in the competition in six groups with great excitement and enthusiasm.

The group-stage debates were held on the following topics: “In modern society, mobile phones are not the key to progress but rather a cause of social degradation,” “Online education is an alternative medium of learning for students compared to traditional education,” and “In the 21st century, skills are more important than degrees for success in the workplace.”

The students presented their arguments with great confidence and clarity, which was highly appreciated by the audience. The school acknowledged the dedication and efforts of both the participants and the judges in successfully completing the group-stage competition. The final debate will soon be held among the top performers.

Bangladesh Community School & College in Tripoli arranged a farewell reception in honour of Mr. Gazi Md. Asaduzzaman Kabir, President of the Executive Committee of the school and Minister (Labour) of the Embassy of Bangladesh in Libya. His Excellency Major General Abul Hasnat Mohammad Khairul Bashar, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Libya, attended the event as the chief guest. Guardians, community members, and students also participated in the programme. In the reception, an Address of Honour was read out, and a Memento was presented to him. The guests conveyed their best wishes to him and his family for their well-being and a bright future.

বাংলাদেশ কমিউনিটি স্কুল ও কলেজের সাবেক শিক্ষার্থী মোহাম্মদ আরিফ ২২ আগস্ট ২০২৫ তারিখে হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় মাত্র ৩৬ বছর বয়সে ইন্তেকাল করেছেন (ইন্নালিল্লাহি ওয়া ইন্না ইলাইহি রাজিউন)। মৃত্যুকালে তিনি স্ত্রী, এক কন্যাসন্তান ও অসংখ্য গুণগ্রাহী রেখে গেছেন।

মরহুম আরিফ ছিলেন লিবিয়া প্রবাসী জনাব লিটন বেপারির জ্যেষ্ঠ সন্তান। তিনি এবং তাঁর ভাইবোন জেনি, আইমান, ওসামা ও ওয়াসিম সবাই বাংলাদেশ কমিউনিটি স্কুল ও কলেজ থেকে মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চমাধ্যমিক শিক্ষাস্তর সম্পন্ন করেছেন।

মরহুম আরিফের অকাল মৃত্যুতে বাংলাদেশ কমিউনিটি স্কুল ও কলেজের পক্ষ থেকে শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবারের প্রতি গভীর সমবেদনা জ্ঞাপন করা হচ্ছে এবং তাঁর বিদেহী আত্মার মাগফিরাত কামনা করা হচ্ছে। একই সঙ্গে মহান আল্লাহর দরবারে দোয়া করা হচ্ছে, যেন শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবার এই অপূরণীয় ক্ষতি সহ্য করার শক্তি ও ধৈর্য ধারণ করতে পারেন।

মরহুমের পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে আত্মীয়স্বজন, বন্ধু-বান্ধব ও শুভানুধ্যায়ীদের নিকট তাঁর রূহের মাগফিরাতের জন্য দোয়া করার অনুরোধ জানানো হয়েছে।

বাংলাদেশ কমিউনিটি স্কুল থেকে ২০২৫ সালের এসএসসি পরীক্ষায় অংশগ্রহণকারী ৪ জন শিক্ষার্থীর সকলেই কৃতিত্বের সঙ্গে উত্তীর্ণ হয়েছে। তাদের মধ্যে ২ জন জিপিএ-৫ এবং বাকি ২ জন জিপিএ-৪.৮৯ অর্জন করেছে। স্কুলের পক্ষ থেকে শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রতি রইল প্রাণঢালা অভিনন্দন ও শুভকামনা।
