Emanating from the will of a group of Libyans who graduated from American universities, the Libyan Association of American Universities Graduates was founded in Tripoli in 2012 as a non-governmental, non-profit, independent organization. The Association is an educational, cultural, and social organization dedicating its efforts towards greater understanding between the peoples of Libya and the U.S.
