A lab report conclusion.
How to Write the Conclusion of a Lab Report ?
1. Do Not Repeat the Experiment. Do not rewrite the procedure or explain the experiment again. The conclusion should focus on the meaning of the results, not on repeating the steps.
2. Avoid Weak or General Expressions Do not use phrases such as: “We observe…” “We conclude…” “We see…” “We learn…” “We studied…” “We did…” “We understood…” Also avoid general statements like: “We successfully achieved the goals.” Instead, write directly about the actual findings and results.
3. Analyze the Results. Discuss what the results indicate. Comment on important observations. Explain relationships, trends, errors, or behaviors shown in the experiment. Focus on interpretation rather than description.
4. Follow the Same Order as the Experiment If the experiment contains multiple stages or parts, discuss them in the same sequence in the conclusion. This keeps the conclusion clear and organized.
5. Start with the Most Important Findings Begin the conclusion with the key outcomes or strongest observations. Emphasize the most significant results first.
6. Only Discuss What Was Actually Done. Do not mention theories, methods, or ideas that were not performed during the experiment. Even if they are related to the topic, avoid discussing them unless they were part of your work.
7. Summarize the Essential Points Include the important factors that affected the experiment or were necessary for its success. Keep the summary concise and focused.
8. Describe the Achievements Instead of claiming them. Avoid writing: “The objective was achieved.” “The goal was accomplished.” Instead: Explain how the results demonstrated the objective. Describe what was proven, measured, verified, or observed.
9. Write Clearly and Directly. Use precise scientific language. Avoid unnecessary wording. Keep the conclusion short, organized, and relevant.
Short Summary: A good lab report conclusion should: Analyze and interpret the results, Highlight the important findings, Follow the order of the experiment, Stay focused on what was actually performed, Avoid repeating procedures or using weak general expressions, and clearly explain what the results demonstrated.

في إطار تعزيز الجانب العملي وربط الدراسة الأكاديمية بالتطبيقات الهندسية الواقعية، نظم قسم الهندسة الكهربائية والإلكترونية بكلية الهندسة - جامعة طرابلس زيارة ميدانية علمية إلى محطة جنوب طرابلس لتوليد الكهرباء التابعة للشركة العامة للكهرباء، وذلك يوم الاثنين الموافق 18/05/2026، بمشاركة رئيس القسم وعدد من أعضاء هيئة التدريس وطلبة القسم.

واطّلع الطلبة خلال الزيارة على مختلف مراحل إنتاج الطاقة الكهربائية وآليات تشغيل وحدات التوليد، بالإضافة إلى أنظمة التحكم والحماية والصيانة المتبعة داخل المحطة، كما استمعوا إلى شروح فنية وافية قدمها المهندسون والفنيون المشرفون، تناولت الجوانب التشغيلية والهندسية والتحديات التي تواجه قطاع الطاقة الكهربائية.

وتأتي هذه الزيارة في إطار حرص القسم على دعم الجانب التطبيقي وتنمية مهارات الطلبة وربط الجانب النظري بالتطبيق العملي، بما يسهم في إعداد كوادر هندسية مؤهلة قادرة على مواكبة متطلبات سوق العمل.

وفي ختام الزيارة، يتقدم قسم الهندسة الكهربائية والإلكترونية بجزيل الشكر والتقدير إلى إدارة محطة جنوب طرابلس لتوليد الكهرباء وكافة العاملين بها على حسن الاستقبال والتعاون.

على جميع الطلبة المسجلين لمقرر EE599 للفصل الدراسي ربيع 2026، ضرورة تسجيل بيانات مقترح مشروع التخرج الخاص بهم لهذا الفصل، وذلك بعد اعتماد المقترح من الأستاذ المشرف، من خلال تعبئة نموذج توثيق بيانات مقترحات مشاريع التخرج بقسم الهندسة الكهربائية عبر الرابط التالي:
