الكيمياء : علم المادة، وبخاصة خواصها، بنيتها، تركيبها، سلوكها، تفاعلاتها، وتداخلاتها التي تحدثها.
تسمى الكيمياء أحياناً بـ (العلم المركزي) لأنها تربط الفيزياء مع العلوم الطبيعية مثل علم الفلك والجيولوجيا وعلم الأحياء. و يُعد تاريخ صناعة الكيمياء له أثرًا بالغًا فى مجال الكيمياء بشكل عام.

الفيزيائية ولكنها لا تتفرع عن الفيزياء. Chemistry, a branch of physical science, is the study of the composition, structure, properties and change of matter. Chemistry is chiefly concerned with atoms and their interactions with other atoms - for example, the properties of the chemical bonds formed between atoms to create chemical compounds. As well as this, interactions including atoms and other phenomena - electrons and various forms of energy—are considered, such as photochemical reactions, oxidation-reduction reactions, changes in phases of matter, and separation of mixtures. Chemistry is sometimes called "the central science" because it bridges other natural sciences like physics, geology and biology with each other. Chemistry is a branch of physical science but distinct from physics. The etymology of the word chemistry has been much disputed. The origin of chemistry can be traced to certain practices, known as alchemy, which had been practiced for several millennia in various parts of the world, particularly the Middle East.

نرجو من الجميع طلبلا لا أمرا, القيام بحجر ذاتي في البيت لمدة شهر كامل اقتداءا بشهر رمضان الكريم, و أن يتم التواصل مع العائلات و الأسر و الأفراد في المجتمع بواسطة مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي؛ مثل الفيسبوك Facebook و عمل غرفة للقاء أكثر من شخص أو أي وسيلة تواصل إجتماعي أخرى سهلة الإستخدام, و نرجوا من شركات الإتصال و الإنترنت تخفيض سعر الخدمة قدر ما يمكن لحين السيطرة على الوباء. نرجوا من كل "الأفراد" أصحاب المحلات الغذائية و الدوائية "الصيدليات" توخي الحذر عند التعامل مع الزبائن المضطرين للشراء لدى محلاتهم بتعقيم الأوراق المالية الداخلة و الخارجة إلى خزاناتهم المالية, و العكس بالنسبة للزبائن الذين بفضل أن يكون معهم بخاخات كحول أو مطهر خارجي على الجلد يعادل تأثير الكحول كقاتل لجميع الميكروبات. يطلب من رجال الأمن و الشرطة تكرما ضبط كل اجتماع شخصي أو كل من يقتني من محلات خارج مدى سكنه حيث باعتبار توفر محلات أقرب لسكنه من المحل الذي يتواجد فيه, و توجيه تهمة الإرهاب إليه لإهماله!, يحجر المصابين أنفسهم تكرما و فضلا كي لا يصاب كبار السن بفيروس كورونا "التاجي". كل لحظة و أنتم بخير و صحة و سلامة, و حفظكم الله و السلام عليكم و رحمة الله.

ذكرى الدكتور أحمد زويل، و استخدامه لليزر لملاحظة كسر الروابط الكيميائية في زمن قدره فمتوثانية، بمعني مشاهدة التفاعلات السريعة بتبطيئها بمقدار فمتوثانية، و يعتبر الدكتور أحمد زويل أبو الكيمياءالفمتونية.

Remembering the father of femtochemistry, Ahmed Zewail, who was born on this day in 1946.

In the late 1980s Nobel Laureate Zewail developed methods for studying chemical reactions in detail. Chemical reactions in which molecules held together by atoms meet and reorganise into new compounds are one of nature's most fundamental processes.

However this transition happens too quickly for us to easily see - in a matter of femtoseconds. One femtosecond is 0.000000000000001 seconds, which is to a second as a second is to 32 million years.

By using laser technology to produce flashes of light just a few femtoseconds long, Zewail was able to visualise these reactions in slow motion - and to see what actually happens when chemical bonds break and new ones are created.
