I am glad to see that the last post received more attention than I thought.
It is a pleasure to see so many people commenting. It is always a good thing to share what we know with each other.
I am happy to share information as long as a source is given.

To make the post clear this is about the archaeological records that have been found in Eastern Libya. It is true that the Phoenicians in their civilization predated the Ancient Greeks in modern Libya, but there is no evidence of their settlements in Eastern Libya. It is highly plausible that the Phoenicians knew and even traded/ had influence with Eastern Libya, however there is no evidence that supports it yet.
Add the fact that before the Greeks and even the Phoenicians were the Minoan civilization, who were closer to Eastern Libya and had the capability to travel to it and could have had interactions/influence on the Eastern shores of Libya but we also have no evidence of that either.

The point is that there are yet to be records or accounts of Phoenicia in Eastern Libya but the possibility is still there. We shouldn't cause a divide over knowledge. Knowledge does not belong to us, all knowledge comes from Allah so to Him we should turn to increase it upon us. That is at least my belief.

I would love to look for information on the Phoenicians in Eastern Libya. So stay tuned in the channel and soon we shall see. If you have any reputable sources then please let me know in private messages.

A map of the ancient Greek cities in Cyrenaica! 🏛 🇬🇷 🇱🇾

It is well known, especially here in the east of these ancient ruins, specifically that of Susa and Shahhat which are visited by many people from Libya.

But how many other cities are there that had their origins from the Ancient Greeks? 🤔

This map, by Michael Vickers from 1971, shows just that from archeological records found in those cities many of which are still inhabited to this day!
