🚌 FLASHBACK FRIDAY: Glasgow's Dundas Street Bus Station, c.1960! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Who remembers catching a bus from here? Check out this fantastic archive photo of the open-air Dundas Street Bus Station on Parliamentary Road.

Long before the modern Buchanan Bus Station took over, this bustling hub was the go-to spot for hopping on a single-decker coach out to Kirkintilloch, Lenzie, and beyond. Look closely at the background and you can see the classic stone tenements, old-school advertising billboards like "Boyd" and "Tecalemit," and those iconic exposed-radiator buses!

The station served Glasgow commuters faithfully for decades before closing its doors forever in 1976. Truly a wonderful slice of our city's transit history.
