A lovely session in the political and legal anthropology course for bachelors students when Alison Dillane, deputy head of mission at the Embassy of Ireland came to discuss life in the European institutions with us, and her experience of diplomacy. Everyone is cordially invited to Dr Ritu Khanduri's guest lecture on Gandhi and the Material World on Thursday, 12 March, at 8 pm at Lauvas iela 4, Room 204. It will be a 30-40 minute event, after which the normally scheduled anthropology of consumption lecture will continue for students.

Today we have started the first in-person meeting with the London Scool of Hygiene and Tropical Medicīne and the Centrs Dardedze teams discussing the change which Jimba violence prevention programme brings to relationships. It feels great contributing to a project of this significance.
