“Gaming is always great, especially if by gaming you can learn about yourself, can develop your personality.”

“Workplace is not as simple as it looks – it can be a playful monster world as well, while giving players enough clear structure to feel that their roles, choices and strategies truly can influence what comes next.”

“It was good to put myself into others’ shoes and make decisions from new perspectives.”

“Even being a part of testers/creators team, I became deeply immersed in the game through my personal experiences. The process of superpowers creation was both empowering and transformative.”

Weople Portugal was present in the III International Meeting on Policies and Programmes for Youth Wellbeing and Mental Health 2026.

The event brought together universities, psychologists, policymakers, youth organisations and researchers to explore one of the most pressing challenges of our time: supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people.
We listened to inspiring presentations and powerful testimonies from university students facing real-life challenges in education, work and life transitions. Throughout the conference, a common message emerged: scientific evidence and knowledge creation are essential, but what young people need most is practical support that helps them navigate everyday challenges.

This is precisely where the ROSE Project comes in.
ROSE is all about supporting people at work — helping young adults (students, employees) and HR professionals prevent burnout, handle stress, and build emotional resilience in a changing world.

On the second day of our internal ROSE Train-the-Trainers training, we experimented with a wide range of engaging methods and activities. It was a deep and adventurous immersion into the world of workplace well-being.

We explored gamified approaches to building awareness and developing skills, conducted employee energy audits, mapped personal values and sources of meaning, created personalised AI-powered game avatars, and faced off against office “monsters” — harmful workplace behaviour patterns such as those that undermine psychological safety.

We even celebrated with a birthday cake along the way! 🎂

A day full of learning, reflection, creativity, and fun — and a meaningful step towards helping workplaces become healthier, more supportive, and more human. 😉🌹
