RTU's HPC Center is one of the partners of European Center of Excellence in Exascale Computing - RAISE.
CoE RAISE covers both academic and industrial aspects in a balanced way by uniting partners from academia, i.e., internationally renowned universities and research institutions, and from industry.

Galaxy is an Internet platform for biomedical data processing that provides a wide range of bioinformatics tools. When using Galaxy, there is no need for specific knowledge of the Linux command line and HPC systems.
You can now try the Galaxy platform at RTU HPC Center.

Congratulations to MikroTik's co-owner and chairman of the board, patron John Martin Tully with the acquired Latvian citizenship, which has been awarded to him on the merits of the state.
MikroTikis actively involved in charity alongside the main activity by making large donations. The largest project that has been carried out through their financial support is at RTU HPC center - improved speed of the data network and improved data storage infrastructure, which opens up opportunities for Latvian scientists to carry out a larger amount of data processing, for example, by analyzing data from the human genome or sars-cov-2 virus genome.

Riga Technical University/HPC centre will be representing Latvia in recently awarded EU H2020 project EOSC-Nordic which aims to foster & advance the take-up of the European Open Science Cloud ( ) at regional level by coordinating the EOSC relevant initiatives taking place in Nordic and Baltic countries.
