Two days workshop on programming quantum computers for high school (gymnasium) students
We (quantum software group in Riga) are organizing a workshop for high school students on programming quantum computers. Learning and fun are together. You can see the poster attached to this message. Our aim is to teach the basics of quantum computing and how to write basic programs for quantum computers. There exist already prototype quantum computers (e.g., IBM Q), and we can execute quantum programs on them.
Learning quantum computing is now more practical and so easier by writing and executing quantum programs. Any interested or good high school student can easily follow our workshop. The only prerequisite is to know the basics of programming.
Up to our knowledge, this will be the first workshop around the world to teach quantum programming to high school students.
Could you please share our event with the high school students who might be interested in?
