ASOG invites you to our first clinical meeting of the semester: Blind Date Diagnosis: Gynecological Causes of Pelvic Pain 🩺🌹

Put your clinical reasoning to the test through 4 mystery patient cases. You’ll work through patient histories, symptoms and clinical clues to build your differential diagnosis and uncover what’s really going on, one case at a time.

Expect active member presentations, interactive case discussions, clinical reasoning, differential diagnoses and plenty of opportunities to put your knowledge into practice.

And yes… there might be special prizes waiting for our best diagnosticians 👀🎁

A little recap of this year ✨

Now that the academic year has wrapped up for ASOG, we just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who made it so memorable — our participants, active members, and mentors.

As the current ASOG board steps down, a new chapter begins. If you haven’t noticed already, applications for the new board are now open. So if you’re passionate about OB/GYN and ready to take on the responsibility, don’t hesitate to apply!

Hi Ob/Gyn enthusiasts!

We’re excited to invite you to the final meeting of the semester and the last with the current ASOG board! 🥹

This meeting will be a theoretical one covering sexually transmitted infections, together with our mentor Dr. Vija Veisa. The meeting will focus on key aspects of STIs, diagnosis, prevention and clinical relevance in everyday practice.

📅 Date & time: 20 May, 17:00 PM 📍 Location: Melka Auditorium, Riga Maternity Hospital

We hope to see as many of you there as we wrap up this semester and academic year together.

Hi everyone! ✨

Join us in our next meeting happening already tomorrow on ULTRASONOGRAPHY IN OB/GYN! (apologies for the short notice)

Our mentor for this meeting will be Prof. Natālija Vedmedovska, a specialist in OB/GYN diagnostic ultrasonography. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insight and deepen your understanding of the topic.

📍Melka Auditorium at Riga Maternity Hospital ⏰ 18:00 PM

The theoretical part is open to everyone, while the practical session will be limited to active members.

ASOG Active Member Applications are NOW OPEN
Whether you’re passionate about OBGYN or just curious to learn more, this is your chance to join our society as an active member. We’re excited to kick off a new semester filled with learning!
Active member requirements:
Attendance to 75% of the meetings during the semester
- Must hold ONE presentation during the semester
Active members will:
- Have priority over passive members to participate in practical meetings, when there are limited spots
- Receive a certificate, if all the requirements are met in the end of the semester
