As American author Robert A. Heinlein said, “When one teaches, two learn”. In that spirit BISA would like to invite you all to join us at ‘Medics Teaching Medics’, our new peer-to-peer teaching venture.

Our project is directed at students who are proficient in a certain subject and are willing to teach other students. The goal is to deepen your knowledge and understanding of a topic by teaching it – and to help your fellow students with an interest in your chosen topic. Furthermore, teaching experience is a valuable addition to any CV!

As our project is still developing, we are open for different teaching styles: Would you like to offer a single class or a regular tutoring meet-up; face-to-face courses or online meetings; a small group or a full classroom? BISA will try to make your idea happen and support you with providing a teaching space, necessary equipment, and advertising your class.

As a suggestion, we have prepared a list of clinical topics that may be of interest – but as mentioned before, we are open to your suggestions! If you are a preclinical student who would like to teach a subject, you are also invited to contact us and let us know about your ideas!
