Apsardzei tas nepatika. Theaster Gates ir Čikāgas skolas zvaigzne, daļēji arhitekts, asprātīgi strādājis māju pārveidošanas tiem, kas nevar mitekli atļauties, bet mākslas darbiem izmanto reciklējamus materiālus. Milzīgā telpa aizrauj elpu, man vairāk par visām zelta Versaļām.

This seems to be the biggest gallery I know of. On the grounds of Paris Le bourge airport, among the aircraft hangars and warehouses, one building is the property of the mega-gallery Gagosian. Almost an hour's ride from the center by bike. Currently, the gigantic space contains three, ten meter long works of Theaster Gates made of thick roofing material. His father was a roofer, probably from that influence. The artist himself was on the spot today, gaving interviews and pulling his works to the horror of the security guards. Security didn't like it. Theaster Gates is a star of the Chicago School, part architect, with a witty work renovating homes for the underprivileged, using recycled materials for artwork. The huge room is breathtaking, for me more than all the golden Versailles.
