Today TSI joined the Riga Tech Girls 10th anniversary event and it was a real pleasure to be part of such an inspiring celebration of technology, community and impact.

We were especially happy to meet our alumna Jana Kudinova. Thank you, Jana, for sharing your experience, professional perspective and insights into cybersecurity on the main stage!

A big thanks to Riga TechGirls for bringing together people who are passionate about technology, IT and STEM, and for continuing to inspire more girls and women to explore these fields.

And thanks to everyone who stopped by, play checkers with AI, talked with us, exchange ideas and shared your thoughts. We look forward to future meetings, ideas and joint projects! 🙌

🤝TSI pievienojas GitHub Education ekosistēmai

Izmantojot GitHub Education ekosistēmu, studenti, sākot jau no 1. kursa, akadēmiskais personāls un darbinieki iegūs piekļuvi GitHub tehnoloģijām akadēmiskām vajadzībām.

TSI plāno arī integrēt GitHub repozitorijus studiju kursu darba procesos, uzdevumos, grupu projektos, automatizētās vērtēšanas aktivitātēs un mācību materiālu izstrādē.

Īpaša uzmanība tiks pievērsta mākslīgā intelekta atbalstītai programmatūras izstrādei, izmantojot tādus rīkus kā GitHub Copilot, sniedzot studentiem praktisku pieredzi ar tehnoloģijām, kas aktīvi veido IKT nozares nākotni.

Inženierzinātņu fakultātes dekāns Emmanuel Merchán norāda: “Šī stratēģiskā alianse paver piekļuvi industrijas līmeņa sadarbības rīkiem, attīstītai mākoņinfrastruktūrai un progresīvam mākslīgajam intelektam, dodot iespēju gan mūsu akadēmiskajam personālam, gan studentiem radīt inovācijas plašākā mērogā.”

Our Rector, Professor Mihails Savrasovs, took part as one of the speakers in the Slovenian Aviation and Travel Industry Summit ATO COMM, with the presentation “From Airport to Aerotropolis: How Simulation and Data Technologies Enable Smarter Development.”

It was a great opportunity to share TSI’s expertise in aviation, transport, simulation and data technologies, and to highlight how research and innovation can support smarter decisions for the future. ✈️ 🌍
