What is your experience? “I myself see that the new generation is maturing extremely slowly. Partly because of their privilege (parental support) and partly because of the complex world they were born into. It takes much more time than Millennial generation to sift through the information overload and find themselves. They will be ready to enter the job market no earlier than 28-30 years old.”

Thanks to my sister coach Zane Jankovska’s research into Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) me, too, have opened eyes to my own ADHD symptoms. The ‘funny one’ is: I tend to stain my clothes (coffee, s***e etc.) upon the slightest signs of tiredness and nervousness in my body. It can be nuisance when I am about to start a seminar or when I am in the middle of meeting. My boyfriend says: “You’re like a baby.” I realise I have perceived many of my ADHD symptoms as a mere character defects while in reality they are signs of disregulated nervous system.

Anna Runkle (Crappy Childhood Fairy) improved my life like noone else by explaining how childhood trauma (chronic stress) affects our nervous system. And what to do about it. Just like me she comes from a family of alcoholics. Through her determinations (trying most healing methods) she has come up with break-through realizations which have even been adopted by the British Psychiatric Association. Most importantly she has tought me to accept my trauma symptoms and be gentle with myself - a thing I didn’t experience in my neglect-full childhood.
