RSU Gada balva ir pateicība izcilākajiem studentiem un darbiniekiem par viņu sasniegumiem un ieguldījumu pētniecībā, studiju darbā un Rīgas Stradiņa universitātes attīstībā. Arī šogad RSU Absolventu asociācija pievienojas RSU Gada balvai ar nomināciju “Gada absolvents”.

Aicinām Rīgas Stradiņa universitāte (Riga Stradins University) Absolventu asociācijas biedrus līdz 28. jūlijam izvirzīt kandidātus un palīdzēt izcelt absolventus, kuru profesionālie sasniegumi, aktivitāte un ieguldījums ir pelnījuši īpašu atzinību.

🏆 We are looking for the RSU Alumni of the Year 2026!

The RSU Annual Award recognises outstanding students and staff members for their achievements and contributions to research, academic excellence, and the development of Rīga Stradiņš University. This year, the RSU Alumni Association once again joins the RSU Annual Award with the nomination “Alumni of the Year.”

We invite members of the Rīga Stradiņš University (Rīgas Stradiņa universitāte) Alumni Association to nominate candidates by July 28 and help highlight graduates whose professional achievements, engagement, and contributions deserve special recognition.

🎓 The award will be presented during the official RSU Annual Award Ceremony at the RSU Academic Assembly on October 1 in the RSU Great Hall.

✨ What an unforgettable evening at the RSU International Alumni Reunion 2026!

💫 As the sun shone over RSU, alumni from around the world came together to celebrate friendships, memories, and the lifelong connections that unite our community.

The evening was filled with inspiring speeches, beautiful cake, dancing, a photo box full of smiles, and a journey through memories as we looked back at photos shared by our alumni. The band The Originals got everyone moving, while DJ Manuel kept the atmosphere alive throughout the evening.

🎓 Most importantly, it was the people who made this event so special. Your energy, enthusiasm, and warmth created an incredible atmosphere that reminded us why the RSU alumni community is so unique.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Vice-Dean Smuidra Žermanos for her dedication and support, and to Rīgas Stradiņa universitāte (Riga Stradins University) for helping make this event possible.

🌍🎓 Yesterday morning, international alumni from around the world returned to where their Rīgas Stradiņa universitāte journey began.

The first part of the RSU International Alumni Reunion 2026 brought alumni together for welcome addresses, reflections on the past 30 years and recent developments at RSU, as well as an opportunity to reconnect with the university community.

☀️ The morning programme took place at the Medical Education Technology Centre (RSU MITC ) and included guided tours of the RSU Anatomy Museum and RSU Institute of Anatomy and Anthropology.

Most importantly, it was an opportunity to reconnect, share memories, and celebrate the global RSU alumni community.

Thank you for joining us and making this reunion so special. ❤️
