Every single, little deed is important and can change our path later in life! Every year the Charity Club offers students to participate in various events such as trip to “Zīļuks” orphanage in Madona’s district, Blood Donation Day, and Christmas donation. We strongly believe that our small contribution to the society can inspire other people and together we can make the World a better place.

Let’s take a look back at Mental Health Week 💚 - a Charity Club and EduCom initiative made special by the Business Committee and the Student Association. BusCom and the SA brought the fun with fortune waffles and laughter yoga, while pyjamas, meditation, and other activities helped students unwind from the pressures of academic life.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this week possible, and to all the students who participated and helped create such a positive atmosphere. 🤍

On December 16th, Charity Club was happy to organize the annual Ulubele animal shelter visit. During the winter months, they need help the most, so we donated some pet food and gave a hand shovelling snow out of kennels and catteries. Thank you everyone who donated and participated!❤️
After an animal has been in the shelter for more than 14 days, the respective municipality ceases to provide funds for its nursing. As a result, Ulubele mostly operates on received donations: all the toys, food, medication, and furniture are provided voluntarily by regular people.

On the 3rd of December Charity Club and volunteers visited the animal shelter “Ulubele” and gave some helping hands to prepare for the winter.
