✨ development and application of emotional intelligence

At the beginning of September the ATD (Association for Talent Development - ATD) 2021 conference and exhibition took place, in which we have been participating before for several years. This year it took place in Salt Lake City, Utah, but due to the pandemic conference participants were able to listen to it virtually. 🧑‍💻
We also took advantage of the remote opportunities by listening to various conversations and discussions on current topics in the fields of training and talent development.
Some of the topics covered were - the keys to successful e-learning models, the relevance of learning and what is currently lacking for staff from different industries, and things that training coaches need to consider when working with clients remotely. 🤓

Why do we choose games?

Practicals training is based on the concept of gamification. This concept involves the use of elements of the game in training and exercises, at the same time increasing motivation and willingness of participants to get involved.
The format of games and simulations provides the acquisition of practical knowledge of the required topic in a pleasant and safe environment. 🤓

Advantages of playing:
🎲 promotes cognitive development
🎲 ensures the involvement of all participants
🎲 increases motivation and productivity
🎲 promotes creativity
🎲 develops communication skills

According to the plan, the team started climbing early this morning to catch the most favorable weather. ☀

Practicals is one of the leading developers of educational games and simulations in Baltic states. Games and simulations have been developed in the fields of business, education and psychology. Our goal is to make learning more exciting and dynamic. “Learning by doing” is a principle that we - Practicals - live by.
Through experience, we have realized that game is a great environment to practice skills that are necessary for work and everyday life as well. After switching to remote work, we came to a conclusion that practical skills of the same quality as well as the thrill of a competition can also be acquired online!
