Participating in the ATD conference in September, we gained valuable insights and recommendations on various topics related to current issues in staff development. One of them was - necessary leadership skills for the next decade.

At the beginning of September the ATD (Association for Talent Development - ATD) 2021 conference and exhibition took place, in which we have been participating before for several years. This year it took place in Salt Lake City, Utah, but due to the pandemic conference participants were able to listen to it virtually. 🧑‍💻
We also took advantage of the remote opportunities by listening to various conversations and discussions on current topics in the fields of training and talent development.
Some of the topics covered were - the keys to successful e-learning models, the relevance of learning and what is currently lacking for staff from different industries, and things that training coaches need to consider when working with clients remotely. 🤓

On Monday our coach Valdis Purins had live conversation with Latvian Radio, who together with 4 other Latvian climbers is now very close to climbing the 7134 meter high peak of Avicenna or Lenin's peak on the border of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. According to the plan, the team started climbing early this morning to catch the most favorable weather. ☀
