21st century soft skills for teachers in VET

The creative seminar "21st century general skills in education" has successfully concluded

On December 15, the creative seminar "21st century soft skills for teachers in VET" of the project "21st century soft skills for teachers in VET" was held at the technical school, where teachers and any other interested person were invited to participate in order to learn more about the 21st century soft skills and their use in the learning process.

Zane Saukāne, head of the school's international cooperation center, introduced the project and its achievable results to the present participants of the seminar, while the teachers of professional subjects shared their impressions of the acquired general skills, which were reviewed in October this year, as part of learning mobility in Tenerife.

The participants of the seminar had the opportunity to participate in creative workshops, where the theater actress Zane Valicka - Pētersone gave advice on the application of acting and the development of human skills. On the other hand, Lo**ta Trēziņa, the teacher of professional subjects, demonstrated to the participants creative thinking, cooperation and initiative, and the application of these possibilities to diversify the learning process!

On the 9th of December, we held an event to share the results of our 21st century soft skills for teachers in VET with our international coordinators. We invited staff members from 4 different projects.

The final project meeting was held in Riga, Latvia. It was a productive two days, during which we shared feedback on the completed work, agreed on the tasks needed to complete the final report, and discussed plans for promoting the project. We also talked about the steps that need to be taken to ensure the sustainability of the project's results after its completion.
