The second SECUREU inter-university lecture took place on November 20, with more than 140 students from Latvia, Spain, Finland, Norway, the Netherlands, and Lithuania participating. During the lecture students had the opportunity to listen to 3 fascinating presentations: the security challenges faced by the international logistics company DHL; Nordic Exercise, a training in North of Norway’s involving rescue services and security students; and the use of artificial intelligence solutions in new security technologies.

🎉SECUREU project partners are organizing the conference “SECURING TOMORROW: Preparing security specialists for future challenges” which will take place on November 7, 2024 in Riga, Turiba University.

The conference will discuss the future challenges of the security field – how to conduct high-quality training of security specialists and how to prepare for security challenges in the future. Security professionals, lecturers and students are invited to participate in the conference.

In August 2024, 28 students 👩‍🎓🧑‍🎓from five universities participated in the intensive course, which took place at Turiba University in Riga. This course provided an opportunity for students to receive intensive training, offering in-depth knowledge in the field of security.
During the course students also used and tested study materials developed in SECUREU project.
👩‍🏫The course was organized with financial support from the NORDPLUS program. The project involved five universities: Turiba University (Latvia), Kazimieras Simonavičius University (Lithuania), Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia), LAUREA University of Applied Sciences (Finland), and Nord University (Norway).
