Yesterday, I met with a new client that said she was so nervous, she had a glass of wine to calm her nerves before speaking English. If that's what it takes for someone to overcome their fear or embarassment to speak English- go ahead and have a glass of wine!

The more you converse, the more your stress levels will decrease and you'll be able to focus on having a great conversation or job interview, rather than worrying about making a bad impression.

Last week I worked with a client prepare for a job interview in a large international company. At the end, she was able to speak about her professional experience confidently and with clarity.
With a "cheat sheet" of relevant information and phrases, she was better prepared to converse more freely.

If you want to improve your English, focus on speaking English.
While this is common sense, there are many language apps and English courses that are rooted in learning by reading or passively listening.
