Exupery International School has outperformed global averages in the IB Diploma Programme examinations for the fourth consecutive year!

The Class of 2026 achieved a 92.3% IB Diploma pass rate (world average: 80%), an average Diploma score of 32.04 points (world average: 30.88), and an average subject grade of 5.01 (world average: 4.93). More than half of all graduates (58%) were awarded the prestigious IB Bilingual Diploma (world average: ~30%).

Two students achieved scores of 40 points or higher. The cohort's highest score of 43 out of 45 was earned by a student who has been part of the Exupery community for the past 10 years, having joined the school at its very beginning. Her achievement is a powerful reflection of the long-term impact of an Exupery education. These outstanding results underscore the school's enduring commitment to academic excellence and to providing the highest quality international education.

The IB Doesn't Just Ask What You Know. It Asks What You Do.

Every IB Diploma student at Exupery International School must complete CAS — Creativity, Activity, Service. It is not a box to tick. It is one of the defining features of what makes the IB Diploma more than a collection of exam results.

CAS asks students to step outside the classroom and engage with the world on their own terms. Students design and lead their own projects — a charity initiative, a sports programme, a community event, a creative production. They set goals, face real obstacles, reflect on what they've learned, and often, they surprise themselves.

At EIS, we have seen students organise charity drives collecting Christmas gifts for over 300 children from orphanages and foster families. We have seen students run community service projects, workshops for younger learners, and international volunteering programmes.

Our dedicated CAS Coordinator works with every student to shape these experiences into meaningful personal journeys — not just activities to log.

The world's leading universities are not only looking at predicted grades. They want to see what a student does when no one is awarding marks. The answer that EIS students give is usually remarkable.

Grades Matter. Character Matters More.

Every IB World School teaches towards the IB Learner Profile — ten attributes that describe the kind of person an IB education aspires to develop:

Inquirers. Knowledgeable. Thinkers. Communicators. Principled. Open-minded. Caring. Risk-takers. Balanced. Reflective.

These are not personality traits you either have or don't. They are capacities deliberately cultivated — through how lessons are designed, how students collaborate, how mistakes are treated, and how achievements are recognised.

At EIS, we celebrate these attributes through our monthly PYP Assemblies — events planned, organised, and run entirely by students. Each month, a different Primary class takes the stage and leads the whole school community in an assembly centred around one Learner Profile attribute.

Students research, create content, rehearse, and present — entirely on their own. A 9-year-old standing in front of their whole school, explaining — with genuine conviction — what it means to be caring.

They are not just talking about it. They are living it.

Why We Don't Just Teach Subjects — We Teach Children to Think

In a traditional school, a lesson on water might look like this: here are the properties of water. Memorise them. Write a test.

In a PYP classroom at EIS, the same topic begins with a question: "Why do some communities have clean water and others don't?" Students research, discuss, connect science, geography, and social responsibility — and consider what they might actually do about it.

Same topic. Entirely different experience.

The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), which we follow from Preschool through Grade 5, is built around inquiry — the belief that children learn best when they are genuinely curious, actively involved, and connecting knowledge to what they already understand about the world.

Learning is organised around six transdisciplinary themes: Who We Are, Where We Are in Place and Time, How We Express Ourselves, How the World Works, How We Organise Ourselves, and Sharing the Planet.

This approach develops children who know how to ask good questions, who are comfortable with complexity, and who take genuine ownership of their own learning — from a very young age. Those habits of mind travel with them all the way to the IB Diploma and beyond.
