Day 7️⃣ of Chillin' 🌶

⛈️ Day 7 started in a rather unexpected way — without electricity, as a consequence of the storm! But that didn't stop us from continuing with our programme and making the most of the day.

✍️ We started with our usual slow writing exercise, taking a quiet moment to reflect before diving into the day's activities.

🎭 Then we explored emotion management through the emotion wheel and creative emotion sculptures. We learned to recognise, express and better understand the emotions we experience.

🌊 Next came a team-building challenge — crossing the imaginary river. Communication, cooperation and a bit of creative thinking were needed to make it safely to the other side!

💬 After that, we explored conversations — from small talk to deep talk. We looked at how to move beyond surface-level conversations and create deeper connections with the people around us.

🍳 With no electricity, lunchtime became a challenge of its own! We spent several hours cooking and eating together without electricity, proving that a good meal doesn't necessarily need modern technology — just teamwork, creativity and a hungry group. 😄

🎬 In the afternoon, the Estonian team brought their energy with an improvisation session. We played, laughed and stepped outside our comfort zones through different improv activities.

🎶 Then we discovered the DiSC personality model through songs, a flipchart and a personality test. It was a fun way to learn more about different communication and behavioural styles — and about ourselves!

🌑 Later we entered the Darkroom — an experience designed to challenge our senses and make us experience the world in complete darkness. With our sight taken away, we had to rely on our other senses, ourselves and each other.

Day 5️⃣ of Chillin' 🌿

🏙️ Today we left our project venue behind and headed to Riga, where we spent the day at the Young Media House and exploring the city!

🧘 We started with a session about mindfulness. Through different exercises, we explored how we react to various situations and challenged our senses by touching and tasting different things while blindfolded. 👀

🍽️ After a delicious lunch at Lido, we continued with a session focused on confidence. First, we reflected on how confident we feel in different situations. Then we learned how to reframe negative thoughts and turn them into more positive and empowering ones. 💭✨

🔎 Next, it was time to discover Riga in a different way! We split into teams and explored the city through a fun bingo game, completing challenges and paying attention to our surroundings along the way. 🏙️📸

🗣️ Once we returned, we had our midterm evaluation. We checked in with each other about what we have enjoyed so far, what hasn't been working, what we are still missing and what we want to take with us from this experience. 🌱

🥢 And the mindfulness didn't stop there! During dinner and later in the evening, some of us continued experimenting with mindful blindfolded eating and other activities. 🙈

🌙 What a day it has been! Don't miss out on the following days!

Day 4️⃣ of youth exchange Chillin' 💫

✍️ We started the morning with slow writing exercise, giving ourselves some quiet time to reflect, write and simply be present.

🎶 Then we went on an emotional journey through music with our amazing music therapy master, Ieva. We explored different musical instruments, experimented with sounds, played both individually and as a group, and even had some brave participants take on the role of conductor! 🎼

😴 To finish the music therapy session, we slowed everything down with a calming relaxation and nap. A perfect moment to let the sounds and emotions settle.

💥 Then came quite the opposite experience — the Smash Room! Participants wrote their negative or pressing thoughts on plates and then let them go by smashing the plates into countless pieces.

🎨 But we didn't let those pieces go to waste! We used the broken shards to create mosaics. The meditative process of crafting helped us transform something destructive into something beautiful and gave us a chance to calm down after all the smashing.

🇪🇪 In the evening, it was time for Estonian Cultural Night! We played fun games, discovered interesting facts about Estonia and, of course, learned and danced some traditional dances. 💃🕺

🌈 And with that, a day full of emotions, sounds, creativity and reflection came to an end.

Day 3️⃣ of youth exchange Chillin' 🫶

🌞 Today was all about stepping outside, getting creative and trusting each other!

✍️ We started the morning with a slow writing exercise and a blackout poetry session. Using pages from an old book, participants transformed existing words into their own unique poems. 📖✨

🥾 Then we packed our bags and headed out for a hike! Along the way, we took on different challenges — from answering thought-provoking questions to playing the legendary sword game. ⚔️

⚡ When we reached the park, it was time to put our teamwork to the test with the electric fence activity. Communication, cooperation and a little bit of creativity were the keys to getting through!

🙈 On the way back, things got even more interesting. Some of us were blindfolded and had to rely on each other to find the way. It was a great reminder that sometimes we have to let go of control and trust the people around us. 🤝

🌙 And that's a wrap on Day 3! Stay tuned to see what comes next!

Day 2️⃣ of Chillin' 🌿

☀️Today we were discovering ourselves, managing stress and exploring how the world around us can shape our identity.

🕵️‍♀️We started the day with Mission Impossible — a fun challenge that tested our teamwork, creativity and problem-solving skills.

🧘‍♀️Then the Estonian team led us through a stress management workshop, where we explored different ways to recognise stress and deal with it in a healthier way.

🗺️After that, we turned our attention inwards with a “Get to Know Yourself” activity. By drawing a map of our values, we had the chance to reflect on what really matters to us and what influences the choices we make.

💭The Romanian team then invited us to explore social pressure and identity. We had some interesting and sometimes heated debates about topics such as taking a gap year, the influence of society on our decisions and the growing role of AI in our everyday lives.

🇷🇴We finished the day with a Romanian Cultural Night! We enjoyed traditional snacks, learned more about Romania through a fun Kahoot, watched a presentation and, of course, ended the evening with some energetic Romanian dances. 💃🕺

🎁Another day full of learning, discussions, laughter and new experiences!

Day 1️⃣ of youth exchange Chillin'☀️

✨️Today was all about getting to know each other and becoming a team through teambuilding activities.

✏️Along side with that we established the rules or as we call them - agreements that we will follow during the project.

🔑Then we discovered the key competences through fun theater based aproach, and set a learning aim for this following week.

👑For just 10 minutes we practiced a new skill - for some it was playing the ukulele, for others learning the rubics cube, juggling or many other fun skills. We will continue doing this to see the progress in the end.

📚Closer to the end of the day we made a DIY notebooks from old books and paper for our bright ideas and reflections.

🌙In the evening some fun acticities took place. We gathered outside for a competitive game where we checked, which of the teams were the brightest or luckiest.

👀Keep following to see what comes next!

🩷 Day 7 – The Final Day of Our Erasmus+ Journey! 🩷

Today marked the end of an unforgettable week filled with learning, laughter, new friendships, and incredible experiences. It was a day of reflection, gratitude, and celebrating everything we have achieved together.

We took part in our closing activities, looking back on all the moments that made this Erasmus+ project so special. From workshops and cultural nights to meaningful conversations and shared adventures, every experience has helped us grow both individually and as a group.

One of the most memorable moments was the Youthpass Ceremony, where we received our certificates and celebrated the knowledge, skills, and personal growth we have gained throughout this journey. It was a proud reminder that learning happens far beyond the classroom and that every experience leaves us with something valuable.

We also revealed our Secret Friends, sharing kind words, surprises, and lots of smiles. This activity reminded us how important small acts of kindness can be and how quickly strangers can become lifelong friends.

Although this project has come to an end, the memories, friendships, and lessons we have gained will stay with us forever. Erasmus+ has shown us the beauty of cultural exchange, teamwork, and stepping outside of our comfort zones.

This may be the last day of the project, but it is only the beginning of the stories we will continue to carry with us. Thank you for an unforgettable journey. Until we meet again! ✨
