LIKE? SHARE! VISIT IN POLAND
The last short-term joint staff training events under ERASMUS+ project „Like? Share!” took part from 9th to 13th of April in Zespół Szkolno-Przedszkolny in Pietrzykowice. Polish school hosted visitors from partner schools from Latvia and Estonia. It was a week of sharing knowledge, experience and knowing some new methods of teaching. We had a possibility to show methods which we had already learnt in Latvia and Estonia including ‘friends to friends’ and ‘forum theatre’. Apart from that, our methods were also shown in practice.
There were plenty of activities in school. First of all, ‘forum theatre’ method (learnt in Estonia) was presented by our students and teachers – S. Basik and A. Ścieszka. Also, our drama group 'ARBAT’ and its tutor E. Biegun performed for our guests. The following method - assessment for learning was used during English lesson led by J. Zawiła. Moreover, J. Minor prepared workshops about ‘anger’ including the elements of emotional intelligence. Also, B. Cebulska together with common room’s teachers presented a method ‘friends to friends’ which was seen in Latvia. Our school counsellor – B. Hutman-Wilczek demonstrated Biofeedback therapy and karate classes to the teachers form partner schools. Finally, students from our school had an opportunity to take part in Russian lesson about friendship led by Latvian teachers and in English lesson with mobile phones and QR codes application led by Estonian teachers.
During this week, we took part in florist workshops and saw typical clothing and dance of regional group 'Magurzanie’ in Culture House in Łodygowice. We also visited ‘Pracownia Orange’ in Łodygowice and had a possibility to build and programme robots. We met with local authorities too. Our guests could visit Pietrzykowice, Łodygowice, Żywiec, Zakopane and Chochołów. The whole week turned out to be busy but successful and fruitful for its participants.
