Yesterday evening, my student Ema Covrescu rocked! 🤩What an outstanding achievement: she won the 1st prize at Bayota Young Soloist Vocal and the 2nd prize at Young Soloist Piano!!!
Congratulations on your well-deserved successes! I’m extremely proud of you, my dear Ema, and thankful for all the support you’ve received from your lovely family and from the other dedicated teachers!

Little hands, big dreams. 🌟
Watching and being a part of Keiona’s musical journey is such a joy! At only 5 years and 2 months old, she is already playing with so much feeling and ease! She simply amazes me not only with her talent, but also with her dedication and consistency at such a young age! I see a promising future for her! With the amazing support from her parents, I am sure she will continue to beautifully bloom and fulfill her dreams!
I simply love seeing her face light up everytime when she comes to our lesson and starts playing! She is so adorable, isn’t she? 💗🎹

I am absolutely thrilled to share some incredible news! One of my long-term students, Ema Covrescu, won an audition and has been cast in an upcoming music-themed movie! 🎹🎬
Seeing Ema grow from learning the first notes to preparing for a screen debut where she will also showcase her piano skills, has been a joy. Her dedication and hardwork truly paid off. Not many understand how much effort is behind each accomplishment…

New year, new keys, new place, new beginnings.
2026 brought my childhood piano to my new studio. I remembered my beginning while my students were playing at it...
Now I’m glad I can imagine (and be a little part of) my students’ own musical journeys.
This piano carried my dreams once. Now it carries theirs. 🎹

The keys were translucent, catching the light like frozen moonbeams, and though they didn’t sound, the children listened as if sounds were already in the air. They imagined rhythms, melodies, soft staccatos cracking like frost, long legato lines melting into one another... They could feel the music forming in their breath, in the way their heads tilted toward an unheard melody.

Before a single note was played, they were already doing what I try hardest to teach: that music begins in imagination, long before the fingers reach the keys.
